Yoga Nidra is a way to shine the light of awareness on ourselves and bring our subconscious thoughts to the conscious. This workshop, including asana, pranayama, restorative postures and yoga nidra are all designed to help us ground and release anxiety and fear from the body and mind. Join Kelly in this transformative practice and embark on a journey to deep relaxation.
The practice will begin with gentle vinyasa to release tension from the hips, lower back and joints where stress and tension tends to accumulate. Through movement we will bring a deeper awareness to our breath and remove holding patterns. We’ll progress from movement to stillness via restorative poses selected to slow down the mind and let go of any anxiety and fear held in the body. The practice will transition and close with a thirty minute long yoga nidra designed to guide you to stillness with the intent to calm and soothe. Throughout the practice, visualizations, essential oils and hands on adjustments will be offered.
